The Lounge

The first lounge run by Oneworld itself, not one of the airlines in the alliance. I was wanting to get here to see what it was like for the last few years, and by a happy accident of misfortune on flights, I was routed through Amsterdam instead of Helsinki, allowing me to visit.

Food and Drink

Long shot down the lounge Window individual seats is where I feel it is at And the workers (that is usually me but I actually had take the day off) For phone calls and private work, these rooms are here (but were always taken) The spot, the bar. Excellent libations available Food, yes, food. Lots of food. Hot food. I don't know what would be Netherlands food, so I'm going to say it's all ethnic Deserts, oh yeah The very popular spot with the ladies, white wine and cheese The wine chilled for you The easily available wine (not all the same as at the buffet) Sodas, including my Coke Zero, and Euro Fanta (much better than USA Fanta)

Summary

I am quite interested in having a general Oneworld lounge, not operated by any specific airline, but run by the alliance. I think this is a great improvement over the variability that might be in other "non hub stations" around the world.

Heavily into the food, and lots of wine, a very solid business class (first too, but let's be honest, if it allows biz class, it's going to be business level experience). Lots of seating, but it is fairly crowded from my observations. Great lounge overall though.
